About Key Figures:

Key Figures is a worker-owned and operated cooperative staffed by a small team of skilled professionals, growing at a deliberate pace. As part of our commitment to internal equity and work-life balance, all staff are paid hourly regardless of title, and overtime is rarely necessary. Together, we strive to provide high-quality services for our clients, and sustainable, rewarding, long-term careers for our staff. Key Figures works remotely with small and medium sized cooperative businesses and non-profits across the United States, providing bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial management expertise. Key Figures provides a unique opportunity to establish a fulfilling career, to be part of shaping and growing a company, and to become an owner in that company if you would like to. Folks with an independent spirit who love being part of a team will be a great fit.

In our most recent staff survey 100% of Key Figures’ staff indicated they want to still be working here in five years.

Benefits of Working at Key Figures:

Immediate:

  • Fully remote workplace – there is no office! Everyone is fully remote, and as such all systems are set up to be based on the company provided laptop.

  • Home Office Stipend - $50 per month to help you supply your home office with all the tools you need.

  • Flexible schedule – you can fit your work around your life. You do need to be generally available and responsive to coworker and client requests during standard business hours.

  • Full Time Hours – means 30 or more hours a week at Key Figures. While many office employees sit at their desks for 40 hours a week, we all know they don’t work the whole time they are in the office. All positions use 35 hours a week to do wage comparisons against similar positions. Most Key Figures employees work 32-40 hours per week. Full time employees are required to work 130 hours per month.

  • Transparent workplace – as a small and growing company, Key Figures managers use an open book finance system to keep workers informed of upcoming changes in the business and the financial metrics that make our business run and guide decision making.
