individual to handle our day-to- day internal administration.

Essential Job Functions:
 Coordinate remote office activities and operations to secure efficiency and
compliance to company polices
 Prepare monthly client billing and ensure that clients remain informed on their
outstanding debts and deadlines
 Perform other internal bookkeeping procedures, such as running staff payroll,
bank reconciliations, and preparing monthly financial statements
 Prepare new client engagement letters and perform internal new client set up
 Coordinate monthly staff meetings
 Manage internal software systems
 Create and update policies and procedures
 Create and update records with personnel, financial, and other data

 Work with Operations Manager on researching and managing projects
 Assist with new employee administration and integration
 Oversee employee health insurance and benefit programs
 Track stock of office supplies and run errands, check PO box
 Assist colleagues whenever necessary


Qualifications:
 Experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role
 Familiarity with office management procedures and basic bookkeeping principles
 Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel and Word
 HR knowledge a plus
 Technological know-how a plus
 Strong written and verbal communication skills
 Ability to work independently
 Ability to multi-task and take initiative
 Must be detail oriented
 Must possess strong organizational skills
 Must exercise confidentiality and discretion
 Reliable transportation

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities/Job Duties:

The Account Manager position requires taking full responsibility for each clients’ bookkeeping system and guaranteeing accurate balance sheets and revenue/expense statements. In your cover letter, please elaborate on how your work experience has prepared you for this specific responsibility.

Duties include accounting system design and setup, financial statement analysis, AP/AR, account reconciliation, data entry, client training, insurance reporting, payroll, tax filings (payroll and state sales tax), client meetings, and some internal administrative work. We work almost exclusively in Quickbooks Online.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years full-service bookkeeping experience in Quickbooks
  • Knowledge of accrual basis bookkeeping
  • Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel and Word
  • Excited about learning new technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative
  • Must exercise confidentiality and discretion
  • Reliable transportation

Hours:

30 hours/week minimum, exceptions will be made for bookkeepers who already have their own clients.

Flexible hours with the ability to work remotely. Substantial availability during normal business hours is a must.

Compensation:

$20 to $22/hour, plus benefits for full-time staff.

Duties include data entry, account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. We work almost exclusively in Quickbooks Online.

  • Reliable transportation
